Hello EVPB Family!

It’s the holiday season! (Did you sing the song just then? Me, too).

Thank you for all of your hard work this semester! Our students have seen so many successes since July! We also hope you all enjoyed the Winter Concert! What a great time it was and ALL of the students played very well! This will be our last newsletter of the 2025 calendar year. Our next one will come out the Sunday before school starts back up in 2026.

Band Fees

Please make sure you are paying your band fees. We have, currently, over $20,000 in outstanding band fees. Please login to your BoosterHub account and check on invoices. If you have any questions, please feel free to message me, see contact information at the end of this newsletter.

Christmas Party - Tuesday, Dec. 16th

Our annual Christmas Party is this Tuesday from 5 pm - 7 pm @ EVHS band hall. We are inviting our middle school students as well! We will have games, a movie, and snacks. Please sign up for snacks (looking for finger foods…things you can eat with only your hands) using this link.

Weekly Schedule

During exam week, students must submit a note, to the main office, from home that is signed by a parent or guardian to sign out early if exempt from afternoon exams.

Upon picking up your child from events, please either park in the lot in front of the school OR in the car rider pick-up lane. DO NOT use the bus lane, as we need to keep it clear for our buses AND for students to transport instruments safely from the truck to the band room.

Below are our concert/parades dates for the year. Please mark these on your calendar. Students MUST attend all concerts/parades and concert rehearsals. Please check the calendar for marching contests and football dates, as those are also mandatory.

¡Ya llegaron las fiestas! (¿Cantaron la canción? Yo también).

¡Gracias por todo su arduo trabajo este semestre! ¡Nuestros estudiantes han logrado muchísimos éxitos desde julio! ¡Esperamos que todos hayan disfrutado del Concierto de Invierno! Fue un momento maravilloso y ¡TODOS los estudiantes tocaron de maravilla! Este será nuestro último boletín informativo del año calendario 2025. El próximo se publicará el domingo anterior al inicio de clases en 2026.

Cuotas de la banda

Fiesta Navideña - martes, 16 de diciembre

Nuestra fiesta navideña anual se celebrará este martes de 5:00 a 7:00 pm en el salón de la banda. ¡También están invitados nuestros estudiantes de secundaria! Tendremos juegos, una película y aperitivos. Por favor, inscríbanse para traer aperitivos (buscamos bocadillos que se puedan comer con las manos) utilizando este enlace: inscribirse para traer comida

Horario de la Semana

Durante la semana de exámenes, los estudiantes que estén exentos de los exámenes de la tarde deberán presentar en la oficina principal una nota firmada por sus padres o tutores para poder salir antes de tiempo.

Al recoger a su hijo/a de los eventos, por favor, estacione en el estacionamiento frente a la escuela o en el carril reservado para recoger a los pasajeros en automóvil. NO use el carril del autobús, ya que debemos mantenerlo despejado para que nuestros autobuses y los estudiantes transporten sus instrumentos de forma segura desde el camión hasta la sala de la banda.

Concierto/Fechas importantes

A continuación se muestran las fechas de nuestros conciertos/desfiles del año. Por favor, anótenlas en su calendario. Los estudiantes DEBEN asistir a todos los conciertos/desfiles y ensayos de conciertos. Por favor, consulten el calendario para conocer las fechas de los concursos de marcha y fútbol, ya que también son obligatorios.
