Hello EVPB Family!  

We had a great time at the Georgetown Christmas Stroll on Saturday. The crowds were huge and the parade was one of the largest in recent Georgetown history. The Patriot Band did a great job and represented our school well! 

This week is a big week! We have a concert on Tuesday and Region Auditions, for those involved, on Saturday!

Winter Concert

Our concert is this Tuesday the 9th @ the PAC. Those students in the Jazz Ensemble, Concert Band, and Symphonic Band have a call time of 6:10 @ the PAC. All other students should be at the PAC by 6:40. Please arrive in your concert attire with ALL materials needed for the concert. 

Percussionists assisting with equipment should arrive at 6 pm. 

The concert will begin @ 7 pm. 

ALL students are required to stay for the duration of the concert. Students will not be allowed to leave early. Students who leave early will have their grade lowered for the performance.

Symphonic Band Uniform Fittings 4 pm - 5:15 pm (please come if yet to be fit with a uniform)

Region Band auditions @ Pflugerville HS

Upon picking up your child from events, please either park in the lot in front of the school OR in the car rider pick-up lane. DO NOT use the bus lane, as we need to keep it clear for our buses AND for students to transport instruments safely from the truck to the band room.

Below are our concert/parades dates for the year. Please mark these on your calendar. Students MUST attend all concerts/parades and concert rehearsals. Please check the calendar for marching contests and football dates, as those are also mandatory.

¡Hola familia de EVPB!

Lo pasamos de maravilla en el desfile navideño de Georgetown el sábado. Había muchísima gente y el desfile fue uno de los más grandes en la historia reciente de Georgetown. ¡La Banda Patriota hizo un excelente trabajo y representó muy bien a nuestra escuela!

¡Esta semana es muy importante! ¡Tenemos un concierto el martes y las audiciones regionales, para quienes participan, el sábado!

Concierto de Invierno

Nuestro concierto es este martes 9 de diciembre en el (PAC) Centro de Artes Escénicas. Los estudiantes del Conjunto de Jazz y de la Banda de Conciertos deben presentarse a las 6:10 en el Centro de Artes Escénicas (PAC). Los demás estudiantes deben estar en el PAC a las 6:40. Por favor, lleguen con su vestimenta de concierto y con todo el material necesario para la presentación.

Los percusionistas que ayuden con el equipo deben llegar a las 6:00 pm.

El concierto comenzará a las 7:00 pm. Todos los estudiantes deben permanecer durante toda la duración del concierto. No se permitirá que ningún estudiante se retire antes de tiempo. Los estudiantes que se marchen antes de que finalice el concierto verán reducida su calificación.

Audiciones Regionales en Pflugerville HS

Al recoger a su hijo/a de los eventos, por favor, estacione en el estacionamiento frente a la escuela o en el carril reservado para recoger a los pasajeros en automóvil. NO use el carril del autobús, ya que debemos mantenerlo despejado para que nuestros autobuses y los estudiantes transporten sus instrumentos de forma segura desde el camión hasta la sala de la banda.

A continuación se muestran las fechas de nuestros conciertos/desfiles del año. Por favor, anótenlas en su calendario. Los estudiantes DEBEN asistir a todos los conciertos/desfiles y ensayos de conciertos. Por favor, consulten el calendario para conocer las fechas de los concursos de marcha y fútbol, ​​ya que también son obligatorios.
